Win a Jeep Scrambler! Tickets are now officially available ($5 each)
for the Scrambler Owners Association (S.O.A.)
"Great 8 Restoration Charity Project"! www.cj-8.org/charity8Drawing to be held June 21, 2008 at the
5th Annual SOA National Scramble in Clayton, OK
Official Rules, as well as links to project details and the official Ticket Order Form can now be found on the link above. You can also get tickets directly from me. All net proceeds are going to be split equally between two great charities…St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and BlueRibbon Coalition.
This has been a nationwide project, so pulling the logistics together presented an exciting challenge. The rolling chassis was assembled in Virginia, to join a rust-free OEM Scrambler body at the 3rd Annual S.O.A. "National Scramble" event in Moab in June 2006. Finally, a father & son team from Thayer, Kansas (who own several Scramblers of their own) brought the whole project to completion, and did a phenomenal job with the detail work. In fact, it just won a trophy for "Best in Show: "All Others 1976 & Later" (non-big 3) in a car show this Memorial weekend.

That's the one that Mike at 4x4 Land worked on isn't it?
When I saw that thing out at his shop, I was impressed how nice it is.

CHIEFWAHO- 11-28-2007
We are making plans to have the Charity Scrambler on display at the Brush Beaters `Wheelin' 4 Toys' December 8th.
Plan to bring and extra $5 and support the two charities.
(St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and BlueRibbon Coalition)
These tickets would also make great stocking stuffers.
Thanks to everyone that supported the `Charity Scrambler'!
Around $32,000 dollars was raised.
It will be split between St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and BlueRibbon Coalition.
The winning ticket was Jake White, Madison, AL
Jake is a SOA club member and was present at the event.
He drove the Scrambler home (580 miles).
