To the crew at Kansasrocks and the gentleman and his family
My freind Donny vanleuwan was struck by a lockout from a vehicle while watching it climb can opener as some of you may know on sunday. He is at home resting with no broken bones or cuts, but his left eye is severly damage and he has been going to an eye specialist in pittsburg ks every day for treatment.The swelling from the eyeball to the skull seems to be the problem. Since that afternoon he has not been able to see from his left eye, but now they have him on alot of medication so not to strean his eye and to keep it dialated constantly to allow the swelling to go down. Hope fully by the weekend he can see again with no surgery or any permanet damage.We will keep you updated as we go. As for the park activities Donny wanted me to tell every one he had a great weekend at the park and will return again. As to the gentle man with the flatbed ford ranger Donny says Thanks to you and your family for the help and concern. He also says dont beat yourself up accidents happen. And they can happen to all of us so be safe no matter what your doing.

Definately keep us posted and I wish him a speedy recovery! I am always amazed at the comradery of the 4wd community!!!

I hadnt seen him in about 10 years but ran into him and some friends STUCK in troxels trough on that saturday.. hope u got out.....got some good pics that i will try 2 get posted later this week. first time 2 kansas rocks and had a GREAT time.... ROCK ON!!!

Donny is doin well he has 60 % of his left eye back he should be able to get back to work He's feelin good and glad to get movin again
