I've been thinking about coming down for a weekend of wheelin' and geocaching with our Hummer H3. I never see any Hummers in any photos; is this a Jeep only thing?

I run with some fellows.....and one of THEM has an H3.......and we've been to the park with it a few times. He does just fine with it!

Real problem of Hummer owners is that they don't want to get it dirty. Sticking to the rode dirt in the rain and snow just is a little too much for them. Same for the Rovers.... Actually, Hummer of KC is a strong supporter to KanRocks. They hold an event there also. Real question you've got to ask yourself, if you own a Hummer H3, has it been off the pavement yet? Why or why not?

you guys should have seen the guy in the H3 that was wheeling with us a few weeks ago out there. He was thrashing on that thing hard. He blew something out of the front end and put his skidplates through absolute hell. There was a couple of times I though he was gonna whack a tree but ended up getting off with some minor rubbing. He said he didnt buy it to be a mall crawler and it was sweet when he stuck to his word :)

Not a mall crawler Hummer
Thanks for the input everyone. I know what you mean about the Hummer crowd; we're sort of split between mall crawlers and people like me that want to use it for safe wheelin' (I still need to drive it to work on Monday!). I hope to make it down there soon. :) >

Real question you've got to ask yourself, if you own a Hummer H3, Why? Why do some people own Fords and others Chevy? I guess it comes down to personal choice. I'm not trying to make some snooty statement by driving an expensive SUV (I'd own a Range Rover if I wanted to do that). Besides, a Jeep Rubicon and a Hummer H3 start out around the same price range ($29K). I bought it for it's stock capabilities and so far I am thoroughly impressed. :D

Hummers
Hey KS Trekker, Are you going to attend the Hummer Happening at the park this weekend? Should be any where from 10-30 Hummers there this weekend. I am Jeep guy but work for the local Hummer/Chevy dealer (don't think I can use the real store name on here or not) I will be down there to help out with the event. They are pretty fun, usually there will be one loose nut behind the wheel that gets into something harry.
