all i can say is i hope this passes. :D maybe i wont have to tear up my fields/friends fields anymore... :roll:

The meetings went well... over all there is widespread support in the district meetings. The only resistance I heard of was 1) will the current residents of the area mind the extra traffic and noise, 2) we need to make sure we do something to prevent pollution, and 3) are we sure that this is the best place to build something like this. Other than that the motion to push the proposal to the City Council was met with a lot of positive attitudes. I personally haven't heard anything since December. And don't expect anything to happen any time soon. This is a government project and it moves at the speed of Government. (Really freakin slow)
