Sounds like a really cool event! I know several members of the HummerX MidCentral Chapter that will be there. I was wondering about the Off-Road 101 course. I was thinking about letting my wife drive on the trail ride after the course to give her more confidence in wheelin and our truck. Is the course basic enough for the novice? How challenging is the trail ride?

101
You should let your wife take the 101 course. It is geared toward the novice and beginner off roader. It covers all the basics in a class room situation. Then we take to the trails and teach what we just showed you in the class room. Their will be experienced trail guides that will take time to spot and teach proper techniques on the trail. The trails will be a little challengin for the novice to help facilitate the learning curve but nothing that will get anyone in trouble. It will be a lot of fun. Come out and join us.

Is there going to be any mud slinging in the pit during the event?

Don's know what "Pit" you're talking about. It has been pretty dry down there. With the little bit of rain we had this week you might be able to find some mud. Appreciate you not slinging it very far though.

What a blast!!
We would like to thank everyone that put the Anniversary event together! My family and I had a great time and my wife really liked the Off Road 101 course. The night run was my favorite! Great job everyone! We definitely want to come back for more park events in the future. :)

First time at the park
Me and my family had a great time at the Halloween event. I personally enjoyed the 101 class cuz I finally got to wheel without my backseat driver (my husband) lol. Look forward to it next year :)

We've already started making plans for next year's anniversary event. Thanks to all of you that had comment for us. It really helps us in the planning to know what everyone thinks of an event. Put it on your calendar for next year. I promise it will be even better.
